FREE IMMUNIZATIONS

1 The Allentown Health Bureau has two opportunities to get a free flu vaccination.

The first will be 7-11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Dunkin Donuts at 112 N. Sixth St. in Allentown. The second will be 9 a.m.-noon Friday at Little Apple market at 630 N. Seventh St.

You don’t need to live in Allentown; the immunizations are available because of a donation by the Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Nasal mist vaccine is available only to people 2-18 years of age with no history of asthma.

The session, “Demystifying Hypnotherapy,” begins 9:45 a.m. at Jewish Family Service in Allentown.

Certified hypnotherapist Barry Siegel will discuss how hypnotherapy can be used to reduce anxiety and shed unwanted habits such as smoking.

Hypnotic suggestion also has been used to heighten concentration, reduce pain and to relieve symptoms of hot flashes associated with menopause.
