Reading Ralph R. Reiland’s column “Too ‘smart’ for his own good?â€? (Nov. 11 and TribLIVE.com), I am reminded of the real American political debacle that is Barry Obama.

With no real resume, leadership track record or anything akin to JFK’s “Profiles in Courageâ€?/PT-109 service to our country, this novice was relegated by the media to be the next great FDR/JFK rolled into one. The media elevated this man based on a single speech and his extremist, leftist “progressiveâ€? tilt.

It is repugnant that the media can accomplish this type of mass hypnosis. More media Kool-Aid is being brewed to launch Hillary Clinton to the White House.

The media may be better served by attempting to deduce what power is behind Obama and what entities are behind the scenes, outrageously manipulating both the press and the serfs for a complete takeover of America for global wealth/health sharing.

The mood in America seems to be, “We want our country back, but we don’t know who took it.â€?
